FAQs
Why use CutKilo for weight loss?
At CutKilo, we offer expert-led support combined with clinically proven weight loss medication to help you succeed—without judgment, restriction, or overwhelm. You’ll be guided by a dedicated medical team and your own personal health coach, who’s available daily via chat and video. Whether you need motivation, practical advice, or just someone to listen, we’re here every step of the way. With CutKilo, small, realistic changes lead to lasting weight loss—free from food noise and fad diets.
What information do the DEXA scans provide?
Your two DEXA scans — one at the start of your CutKilo programme and one six months in — show exactly what’s changing inside your body.
Each scan measures:
Visceral fat — the harmful fat around your abdominal organs, measured as a precise VAT (visceral adipose tissue) area. This is the number we most want to reduce: it’s strongly linked to type 2 diabetes, fatty liver and cardiovascular disease, and it responds well to treatment.
Lean mass — your total muscle tissue, in kilograms, broken down by arms, legs and trunk. This is the number we most want to protect. Comparing baseline and six-month figures shows whether your muscle has been preserved — and if not, where, so your clinical team can adjust your plan.
Total fat mass and regional distribution — how much fat you’ve lost overall, and from where on your body.
With DEXA’s 1–2% precision, the six-month comparison is genuinely reliable. At six months, you don’t have to wonder what’s changed. You’ll see it, measured.
Where are the DEXA scans done?
DEXA scans are performed at Dr Emil’s imaging centre, DEXA LONDON at 86 Harley Street, London. Using the same machine for both scans is important — it makes the comparison genuinely reliable.
Is CutKilo online or in-person?
CutKilo is a fully online, doctor-led weight loss service. All consultations, prescriptions, and medical reviews are conducted remotely, allowing you to access care from the comfort of your home with ongoing clinical support.
If you specifically require an in-person appointment, this can be arranged by request at 86 Harley Street, London, W1G 7HP, where Dr Emil Gadimali maintains his private medical practice.
Is this a subscription service?
No, this is not a subscription service. Each month, you’ll be asked to complete a short check-in form, which we’ll email to you around 2.5 weeks after your order. The form only takes a few minutes and helps us understand how you’re getting on, whether you’d like to increase your dose, or prefer to continue at the same level for the following month. If you decide to stop treatment, you can simply let us know through the form.
